Naritasan Shinshoji Temple

The most famous temple in Chiba which has one of the three most famous Fudo in Kanto area. This temple has many national important cultural properties such as Nio-mon gate and three-storied pagoda.

JR Sawara station

Higeta Shoyu Co., Ltd. is the oldest soy sauce factory in Kanto area. You can enjoy the movie of soy sauce producing process, factory tour, and fresco on factory's ceiling. Yamasa Corporation offers you well-organized interesting movie of soy sauce producing process and sells unique products such as soy sauce soft ice cream and shimeji mushroom.

Choshi Electric Railway Inubo station

You can enjoy retro one-man train for about 6 km between Choshi station and Inubo station. You can also enjoy Taiyaki at Kannon station, stone statues of Momotetsu characters at three stations, and baking and eating Nure-senbei (wet rice cracker) that is local specialty of Chosi at Inubo station (reservation is required).

Inubosaki Marine Park

In this park, you can watch a dolphin show and a seal show. An observation restaurant offers sardine cuisine using fresh sardine kept and grown in fish pool.

Inubosaki lighthouse

Inubosaki lighthouse is the first western-style lighthouse in Japan and was selected as the IALA list of 100 lighthouses as historic and architectural monuments. Climbing 99 steps of a spiral staircase leads you to exquisite view. There is an exhibition room on the first floor.

The observatory hill of the roundness of the Earth

From this observatory, you can watch panoramic view for 360 degrees including Byobugaura, Pacific Ocean, and Choshi city. With the view of horizon describing an arc, you can really realize that the Earth is round.
