Mt. Nokogiri ropeway

Located in Minami-Boso Quasi-National Park. The view from The mountaintop observatory offers you panoramic view of 360 degrees. It is also recommended to take more time to visit a sheer precipice "Jigoku-nozoki" and great stone statue of Buddha and Hyakushaku Kannon of Nihon-ji Temple.

Banya at Hota fishing port

Banya is full of customers every day. Dynamic and fresh seafood cuisine of Boso attracts many customers. You can also enjoy spa (Closed on Tuesday).

Roadside rest area Tomiura Biwa Club

You can enjoy shopping of loquat-flavored soft ice cream, local specialties of Boso, and souvenirs. You can try loquat picking in June. Guides for loquat picking and sightseeing are available.

Hojo beach and Tateyama pier

Hojo beach (Kagamiga-ura) is a calm and beautiful beach. Various kinds of ships enter into the port. You can see exquisite sunset from this beach.

Boshu fan　factory tour (Experience)

Boshu fan is one of the three most famous fans in Japan. It is a traditional craftwork made by hand. Please make a call for touring studios because most of the ateliers are ran privately. You can also by the fan at roadside rest area or souvenir shops. Wada whale cuisine

Roadside rest area Rosemary Park

A European traditional knot garden full of flowers of each season and the scent of rosemary. In this Rosemary Park, there is Shakespeare Country Park. Before you go, please check for schedule of various kinds of events performed in the park.

Roadside rest area in Chikura, Shiosai Okoku

Roadside rest area near the sea. There are wide range of marine products for souvenir such as fresh seafood and dried fish. The building is like market and has a café and restaurant. Also recommended is to relax on lawn garden.
